As per the Government guidance schools and childcare settings close on Friday 20th March with the exception of providing childcare for key worker staff and vulnerable children.
So, here at Global Children Services pre school our team are committed to helping as much as we can by opening our doors to 'key workers' requiring childcare for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. If there is enough demand, we will also provide care over the weekend to keep the workforce going. If you'd like to find out more just fill in the short form down below.

Daffy Duck Learning Akademy was established in 2006 to meet the needs for quality childcare. Daffy Duck Learning Akademy has become the #1 leading childcare facility in South Memphis.
We started out as a small in home childcare provider. Daffy Duck Learning Akademy is now located in South Memphis at 2343 Elvis Presley Blvd. We are open from 6:00 a.m. until 12 midnight, Monday - Friday. We also offer weekend care. Our center is closed for only six major holidays each year.
Daffy Duck Learning Akademy serves children from 6 weeks to 13years of age. We also offer before- and after-school programs which transport children to and from area schools.
The after-school program provides homework tutoring and craft activities, field trips, summer camp, and opportunities for physical development of school age children.
All teachers hold a credential in Early Childhood Education. Several have gone further in school and received advanced degrees. We have an intensive training program in place for our teachers in order to stay ahead of the new teaching strategies in early childhood education. All our teachers are required to go through 30 hours of continuing education in Early Childhood Development. In addition to this, as a condition of employment, they’re required to have the following:

Local criminal history background check
F.B.I fingerprinting background check
C.P.R and first aid certification

Your Safety
Here at Daffy Duck, we take the safety of everyone seriously. We have put protective measures in place throughout our preschool.
Hand Sanitation
Before entering the building you will be asked to use hand sanitiser. We also have stations located throughout the daycare.
PPE
You will be required to wear a face mask prior to entering the building and will need to keep it on for the duration of your visit.
Distancing
Please keep 6ft apart at all times during your visit. No more than 2 people are allowed in reception at any one time.
Think Before Attending
Please do not come to the daycare if you or your child is displaying any symptoms of Covid 19. Call our team to advise them and rearrange.
